Mr. P.W.H.M. Dijkmans

Mr. P. (Peter) W.H.M. Dijkmans (1956) was called to the bar in 1982. Though specialised in the field of Company Law, Peter also often draws on his in-depth knowledge of Tax Law.

His knowledge of financial, tax and civil law enables him to solve complex problems in those areas for both large and small firms. For many years now, both domestic and international firms and a large number of accountancy and consultancy agencies have made recourse to his considerable expertise in order to tackle their often extremely diverse problems in the areas of Company and Labour Law.

Successful
Equipped with a vast knowledge of Dutch Law, razor-sharp analytical skills and a healthy dose of common sense, he has built up an impressively large consultancy practice over the years. Aside from the fact that, as a gifted lawyer, he is a lover of legal debate, and that as a highly respected opponent he has achieved major successes in complex and controversial cases, he is also highly cognisant of the fact that the best solutions are achieved through consensus. His wealth of experience means that he is often asked to act as a mediator or a 'cool head' in the case of stalled negotiations or when relationships need rebuilding. His success rate in such cases is remarkable, to say the least.

Limitless
Peter is extremely critical in nature and places very high demands both on himself and on his professional colleagues. The reason for that is simple: only then can one achieve the best result possible in any given case. The solution does not necessarily always lie in the legal domain. His experience as a commissioner and consultant for several companies enables Peter to search for creative solutions that often lie outside the limits of the legal domain.
