Ms. C.J.J. (Cécile) van der Sanden (1980) studied International and European law at the University of Amsterdam. She graduated with first class honours in 2003.

Her international ambitions brought Cécile first to Spain (studied Spanish at the University of Salamanca) and then to Italy, where she lived from 2003 to 2009 and worked as a lawyer. Her work has taken her as far afield as China and India. As a result, she has a wealth of experience on the international front. Cécile is fluent in Spanish, Italian, English, German and French. She was raised in a bilingual family.

Cécile has been working at DijkmansBergJeths Lawyers since 2010. She concentrates mostly on (international) Company Law, general contract law, and Labour Law. Her specialty lies in international affairs, to which she gives her first preference. She enjoys tackling complex legal questions and immersing herself completely in them. Her background ensures that she always remains fully focussed on solutions that are commercially viable in a world that seems to grow smaller by the day. A world, according to her, where seemingly big differences should never form an obstacle to the essence of human interdependency.
