Ms. M. (Marieke) W. Lucius (1980) studied Fiscal Economics and Dutch Law at the University of Maastricht. While studying Fiscal Economics, a course she completed in 2003, she became interested in civil (company) law. Having graduated from the Economics faculty with first-class honours, she went on to graduate from the legal faculty in the areas of Trade and Company Law in 2004. In 2010 she earned a post-doctorate at The Grotius Academy in National and International Contracts.

Marieke has been working as a lawyer at DijkmansBergJeths Lawyers since 2005. Since then she has become highly specialised in Company Law and Labour Law. Her financial and fiscal background stand her in good stead in these areas. Marieke is highly skilled in the drafting and assessing of national and international contracts, including acquisition contracts and complex systems of regulations and conditions in the commercial world. She also tries cases and advises in the area of Labour Law.
